We are a fully integrated real estate investment firm focused on value-add opportunities across single-family, multifamily and land development. Over the past several years, our platform has executed more than 300 acquisitions and repositionings, representing over $50 million in transaction volume.

Our vertically integrated, one-stop model spans the full investment lifecycle, from acquisition and underwriting to in-house construction, followed by long-term asset management or strategic disposition. With a dedicated team of 40+ in-house professionals, including project managers and all core trades, we maintain direct control over execution, timelines and cost management.

The firm currently owns and operates over 150 rental units, aligning our interests with investors and reinforcing a long-term ownership mindset. Each opportunity is evaluated independently to meet risk-adjusted return objectives while maintaining capital discipline and operational transparency.

Owner, CEO

Ronen Yaacov

Ronen comes from a military and financial background. Shortly after leaving the special forces, Ronen started his journey by managing three different companies and tripled their income to seven figures companies in the first year. His success lead to start his real estate investment portfolio which always been his passion. 

His now decade-long career in property investing and project management grew dramatically in the early 2020s, as he began building a management team and raising funds of his own. Renova Investments took shape shortly after. Ronen took special care in curating his team to navigate any project, any market, for any client. 

Outside of work, he enjoys following the NBA and preparing traditional foods for friends and family. Ronen is our lead for deal evaluation, feasibility and negotiation, and you’ll want him in your corner when you’re tackling your next project.

VP of Operations

Matt Ortiz

Matt grew up in southern Texas, part of a family of real estate pros. Jumping into the field straight out of college, he later started his own remodeling company when he relocated to Kansas City in 2017.

After several successful projects together, Matt merged his efforts with Renova and his fine-tuned team joined our ranks in 2021. If his background in real estate and construction management are the bones, his aptitude for creative solutions and positivity are the heart of our company.

Matt is our lead for day-to-day construction operations, site management and team building. 

Director of Capital Markets

Ido Politzer

Ido brings a strong institutional background to Renova KC, with over seven years of experience managing large-scale real estate investment portfolios and executing high-value transactions. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in completing more than $100 million in real estate deals across multiple asset classes and capital structures.

As a Real Estate Sponsor, Ido specializes in strategic capital structuring, with a focus on tailored equity and debt solutions aligned with each project’s objectives. His expertise spans buy-and-hold investments, ground-up development and value-add opportunities, enabling efficient alignment of investor capital with operational strategy.

Ido leads Renova’s capital markets platform, overseeing fundraising, investor relations and deal-level execution. He brings institutional discipline combined with entrepreneurial flexibility to help scale projects and deliver consistent results for investors.

Danielle Livyatan

Danielle is a results-driven Office Manager with a strong foundation in organizational leadership, operations and executive support. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Management, enabling her to effectively blend people-focused insight with strategic and operational decision making. Her professional experience includes overseeing office operations, streamlining administrative processes and supporting senior leadership to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Danielle is highly skilled in communication, problem solving and cross-functional coordination, fostering a positive and high performing workplace environment. With a proactive and detail-oriented approach, she consistently delivers solutions that support organizational goals and executive level priorities.

Drew Westhaus

Drew comes from a diverse background in journalism, linguistics and construction. He’s set the fast-paced news world aside and grown to be a detail-driven leader for our company’s growth and cultivation. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to hone his french and spanish, hiking and road trips to play disc golf somewhere new. Drew is our lead for project development, management and design.
